Q. The first 58 in LIV Golf, your first win. What are your emotions right now?

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: I don't know what to say other than thank you to everybody in our camp. My agent, my manager Connor, my team, my teammate, Greg, G-Bo, keeping me calm and positive out there every shot of the way, even when I made a bogey or something dumb.

But my team, the Crushers baby, Charles, Ban, Paul, everybody, they just mean the world to me that I'm able to share this moment with them. It's a lot better.

Q. It's your first win since your dad passed. Did you think about him out there?

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Don't do that. Don't do that.

Q. He would be really proud of what you just achieved.

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Thank you. Yeah, he would. He was with me out there all day today, no doubt. It's been almost a year, and it's been a really difficult couple years, but doing it this way and finishing out with a 58 or something like that, it's all glory to God and glory to Him upstairs.

I can't thank my dad for all he taught me, my mom for all she taught me, my brother, everybody. It's just amazing what I was able to do. I'm super excited, and it couldn't have been done without all them.

Q. You almost got it done in Valderrama when your mom was there. She's not here today, but anything you want to say to her?

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: I love you, Mom. You are the best person that I could ever imagine parent I me and teaching me all the life lessons growing up. I couldn't imagine anyone else. I love you, Mom.

Q. Do you expect perhaps a call from Zach Johnson, the way you're playing? You deserve to be on that American team.

BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Well, I appreciate that. I'm playing really well. I've got some equipment that's performing quite nicely off the driver, and that's a deadly combination with my putting. So clearly I putted well, drove it well, wedged it pretty well. You couldn't have written it up better than this, but if I do get a call, that would be awesome. If not, I'll be rooting them on over in Rome.
