Q. What's your secret? How are you doing this?
RICHARD BLAND: Well, you know, just got to keep hitting good shots. It's going to be low scoring, so try and stay aggressive as much as you can. Just go from there, really.
Q. Have you made any adjustments or has anything been different recently because you finished top 10 in London?
RICHARD BLAND: I've played pretty solid most of the year. I've kind of tripped over myself a couple of times, certainly a little bit in Tulsa and very much so in Washington. I've been playing pretty good but just trying to -- it's just that word, you've got to stay patient and let it happen. It kind of happened in London and kind of took that over into Hoylake, as well, and nice to bring it here, as well.
Q. You're trailing two kids. You've got David who's 21, Matthew Wolff who's 24. How old are you?
RICHARD BLAND: Well, I'm 50. I'm trying to keep us oldies still relevant. But Lee does a good job of it, and Phil does a good job of it. I think we're the only over-50s in LIV, which is pretty cool.
You've just got to do your thing, don't really worry too much about that. I played with David yesterday. He hits it a mile. I've played with Wolffy a couple of times; he hits it even further.
I've just got to plot it along and take my chances when they come.
Q. Is it still fun out there?
RICHARD BLAND: Of course it is. Of course it is. I love to compete no matter what. Yeah, I'm at a disadvantage length-wise. I know that. But there's other places, other areas of my game I can be better than them. That's what I have to do better tomorrow.
It's the old cliche, you've just got to focus on yourself, one shot at a time, and hopefully put another good one together.
