Q. First of all, many congratulations. How did that feel, 69?
MATTHEW JORDAN: Felt great. I mean, any time you birdie four of the last five coming in it gives you a massive lift.
I was just saying if was the other way round and you started that way and dropped a couple you've got a completely different attitude.
For me, certainly just the way I was able to deal with the frustration and still stay patient and still just wait -- try and make it happen, but still wait for it at the same time and not force it too much, that was the most pleasing aspect for me, especially when it comes off.
Q. It was case of patience, a bit like yesterday. You hung in there, didn't you, in the middle of the round?
MATTHEW JORDAN: Yeah, I did. The middle holes aren't easy. It's hard to get on a run of birdies. I was playing well. Kept hitting good iron shots and gave myself lots of good chances. That was the frustrating part.
It's not that I wasn't quite at it. I could have birdied a few myself. It just didn't happen.
Q. What was it like playing and Stewart Cink today?
MATTHEW JORDAN: He was great. He was such a nice guy. I think he kind of understood the emotion and what was going on so well that he was brilliant to me. Chatted to me, keep me in the moment, in the present.
So yeah, was such a nice guy to play with.
Q. What are the thoughts going into tomorrow? 3-under par; you're in the mix. I know Brian Harman is clear as we stand, but what are your aspirations and targets for tomorrow?
MATTHEW JORDAN: To shoot a good score, no matter what happens. No matter what the finish is I just want to be able to play like I have been doing certainly over the last couple days because I've played great.
Couple drives here or there were iffy, but approach-wise it's been excellent. Just want to continue to do that. If I can, then what will happen will happen.
Q. Week is not over, but how would you sum it up?
MATTHEW JORDAN: Best week of my life. So far. Hopefully. But it has just been that. Obviously performing like I have and being up there has improved it obviously a lot, but it's probably come hand in hand.
Whether I would've done this well without enjoying it so much and so much support, who knows. So far, yeah, it's been an absolute amazing experience and one that I will never forget.
Q. Have you felt the support grow?
MATTHEW JORDAN: Yeah. So certainly playing a couple of groups ahead of Rory everyone is waiting for them. Still I was getting a lot of shouts. Yeah, I did notice there were a lot of people. Only until you get out to 10 and 11 does it thin out slightly.
You go out and it's great, and coming back in you just come back to a wall of people every hole. It's amazing.
