Q. Jordan, how do you reflect on the round today?
JORDAN SMITH: Yeah, it was a bit touch and go at the end there, but hung in well. Didn't quite play as well as what I did yesterday, but no, I'm happy to make the cut and now we can push on for the weekend.
Q. How challenging was the wind out there?
JORDAN SMITH: At times, very. It was quite hard. There are quite a lot of crosswinds so it's hard to work out how much it's actually hurting or helping. It's tough, that's for sure.
Q. An eagle, tell us about that.
JORDAN SMITH: Yeah, nice little bonus to the round but I ripped a drive down the middle and hit a 7-iron from about 230 and managed to get the right bounces and went to about 30 feet and then rolled it in.
Yeah, those sort of things are nice because I didn't really hole many putts throughout the day. That sort of put a little icing on the cake.
Q. I know you're not just here to make the weekend. You want to have a good finish, but how do you look at that third round into the weekend now that you have made it?
JORDAN SMITH: Well, anything now is a bonus, so just push on from here. Sort of -- not all the pressure is off but a little bit of pressure is off so I can sort of go out there and enjoy the weekend and try and get as low as I can.
Q. Any extra family coming up to cheer you on?
JORDAN SMITH: Well, my wife and the in-laws came up today, so yeah, it was good to see them, have them around and a few friends out there.
Yeah, hopefully the friends I've got here will stick around and cheer me on for the weekend.
