THE MODERATOR: We are joined by Team 66. Just take us true your second round here. I know a different format that than yesterday, but what was this round like for you?

RUIXIN LIU: Well, today we don't think we played our best. It's just we got off to a hot start on the front nine, but then on the back I think the wind started picking up, and it started swirling.

So we weren't very sure on so many shots what to hit, so we weren't able to put it very close. But I think overall pretty positive, but we just hope to get more birdies in, you know.

THE MODERATOR: And for you?

YU LIU: Yeah, I felt like we definitely left some out there today because we were only a shot better than yesterday being a four-ball, but I mean, that's golf sometimes.

You've just got to not really overthink things and just move you on, yeah.

THE MODERATOR: Is it a little more comforting playing this kind of style? I know obviously still a team format, but you're not playing an alternate shot. Is it a little more comforting to kind of play, for lack of a better word, regular golf but still in a team format?

YU LIU: Yeah, frankly, I felt like it was too comforting, especially on the front nine, because Ruixin was basically carrying the team, and she was hitting a lot of good shots, a lot of good putts, and then I was just like -- I don't know. I was getting too relaxed and just a couple of loose shots here and there, but...

RUIXIN LIU: I think she played good as well. It's just once she made the par, then I can really go for the birdie.

I don't think it's me that carried the whole team on the front. I feel like she gives me the confidence to do what I did.

THE MODERATOR: Yeah, a little comforting, an anchor. Absolutely. Heading into tomorrow going back to alternate shot, is there any sort of strategy change-up from round one or any sort of things like that? What will you be looking to take advantage of knowing you've already played a whole round with alternate shot?

RUIXIN LIU: We haven't thought about it yet, but we just try to stay patient because I think we're going to have a later starting tomorrow I think. So just stay patient shot-by-shot and learn from yesterday.

THE MODERATOR: Just last one from me. Just take us through that stretch of birdies on the front. Just any memorable ones? You had a couple of back-to-backs like on 11 and 12 or 15 and 16. Were there any memorable holes for you guys?

RUIXIN LIU: 12. 12 we both knocked it so close.

THE MODERATOR: Yeah? Take us through that hole then.

YU LIU: Yeah, actually a little ways because we both knocked it --

RUIXIN LIU: To like three foot. A foot, yeah. Then the 15 is it? She knocked it so close, but then I holed it from 20 feet, so those two are good on both of us.

YU LIU: Yeah.
