Q. Take us through your round, today.

ADITI ASHOK: Yeah, it was -- I think I was hitting it okay, pretty good. I just didn't make any bogeys. So I was obviously hitting fairways and greens. Just couldn't hole as many putts. I feel like I hit some good, but left them short. But, yeah, apart from that I think the day was good. With the rain it was just hard for me to hit some of those putts because I felt the greens were a certain speed, but I think the rain obviously slowed 'em down a little bit.

Q. What did you do during that rain delay to stay loose or keep your focus?

ADITI ASHOK: Not much, actually. I just hung out in player dining, had some lunch. I didn't even realize we could practice because it was not dangerous. But once I figured that out I spent almost 45 minutes hitting balls. Which is longer than my usual warmup. So I just practiced from 4:15 onwards so that helped me stay loose, I guess.

Q. What's the mindset heading into tomorrow knowing that you're up there at 10-under in contention?

ADITI ASHOK: This golf course, especially the way it played today with it being so soft, I think players are going to make a lot of birdies. So I'm going to try and do the same. I feel like I've left a few out there, especially yesterday, so maybe try and get those tomorrow.

Q. I don't think I could talk to you without asking about that hole-out yesterday. Just walk us through that.

ADITI ASHOK: Yeah, I think all day I didn't -- except the first hole where I made a 10-footer, I missed everything yesterday, just kept making pars.

Then hit a bad bunker shot on 14 and made double. So I really wasn't feeling all that good about the round.

But, yeah, and coming into 18 I was trying to hit in two on the green and it was really close to being a great shot and just kicked left into the bunker. So, yeah, I was disappointed, but it's just golf sometimes. You never know until the end what's going to happen. Turned out to be a great day with the hole-out. So, yeah. Good memory from yesterday. Hopefully I can make birdie on 18 tomorrow.
