Q. Way to come from Pebble Beach to the Dana Open and to be where you are right now. Just what was working so well these past two days?

LINDY DUNCAN: What was working well? I was able to keep it in play pretty well. Today the putter kind of was rolling. I had a couple of good opportunities today and took advantage of those with just like some good reads and my AimPoint felt good today. So that was pretty much the difference.

Q. What was it like for you to come from the U.S. Women's Open, to have a friend on the bag, to make the cut, and then to come to an event that really embraces, the community that just truly embraces this kind of event?

LINDY DUNCAN: It's super cool. You go from one of the most iconic places to like this place feels like home for a lot of players out here. I think I've been here six or seven times. I need to count because it's getting up there. It's really cool. There's so many people out today and, yeah, I'm starting to really feel so much support for our game. It's really cool.

Q. Today specifically we saw a lot birdies on the card and no bogeys. What is it about this course that was really suiting your eye today?

LINDY DUNCAN: Yesterday, I had a couple bogeys yesterday, I was a little up-and-down. But I kind of caught fire, made some birdies. So I think that helped me today kind of believe that the birdies were out there. I tried to limit the mistakes and whenever I was out of position I made a couple good up-and-downs. But I was pretty much on the green for most of today and felt good with my speed and AimPoint. So it kind of just came together today.

Q. For you this kind of event has been known, one, people go super low. We are seeing it even today. But just in general this event can really kick start a person's second half of the season. Do you feel like this event could do that for you as well?

LINDY DUNCAN: I sure hope so. That would be amazing if that were to happen. But, yeah, even already it has. Just shooting a bogey-free round in a tournament like this, on a course like this, it's momentum.

Q. What do you take away from a day like today as you head into the weekend up there towards the top of the leaderboard?

LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, super excited to be playing the weekend. Yeah, just going to try to keep doing kind of the same things and see if I can just have some good vibes with my putter and see what happens.
