THE MODERATOR: Just your initial thoughts on today's match first, if you would.

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, obviously, yeah, today's and yesterday's. I mean, obviously playing Novak is just incredible challenge to compete against. You know, he's such a great competitor and great person, as well.

I mean, we were battling, so I think we probably played four tight sets. Especially the first two were in the tiebreaker where one ball could have changed the outcome of the set.

Yeah, you know, I was just trying to put some pressure on him and play well. I was serving pretty decent today. Yeah, I mean, he was serving as well really well, so we were just battling. It was really close.

Yeah, I was trying to make him uncomfortable on the court. Yeah, I mean, I think was a good match. Of course the crowd and the atmosphere is really special. The Centre Court at Wimbledon, so, you know, I really, really appreciate that support, and it's really amazing to be able to experience it.

THE MODERATOR: Questions.

Q. Can you just tell me a bit about how difficult it was to stop last night and then come back today? Would you have quite happily played on another half hour last night just to go right up to 11:00?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, I mean, I don't think -- we would be probably like in the middle of the third set by the time, so I'm not sure how much time we had left.

Anyway, we probably couldn't finish the match. I mean, hopefully for me it wouldn't finish the match, because would have to be like 1-6.

Q. Presumably it's quite annoying to have to play a match over two days. You'd much rather be able to start at a decent time and get finished in one day, right? It probably doesn't suit you great?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, I mean, you know, that's what it is (smiling).

Q. How did you kind of reset? Coming back after being two sets down, how did you reset and find your best tennis and win that set?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, I think I knew I could improve some things from the day before. You know, I was confident with my serve.

Yeah, so I just tried to make a couple of minor changes to my game and then just go for it and believe in it.
