Quick Quotes
Q. Would you give us a recap of the week?
MINA HARIGAE: It was a great week. It was really cool to see the home crowd come out and support. It was just really special to have a major championship in my hometown.
Q. You had a lot of pressure coming in, lots and lots of interviews, and you may have seen that as a distraction in some ways but a positive in other ways. Is that how you feel?
MINA HARIGAE: Definitely. This was definitely not my normal week. I have a lot of downtime usually, but I feel like despite all that, I navigated it all pretty well.
Q. How about your play in terms of going through first to fourth round? Could you take us through the highs and lows of that?
MINA HARIGAE: I hit a lot of good shots. I wish I made a few more putts. I didn't nearly make as many putts as I would have liked.
For the most part, except today, my driver was great, so there's a lot of good takeaways.
Q. Schedule for the rest of the year? Are you going to go week to week or take some time off?
MINA HARIGAE: I have a general idea. I already know which tournaments I'm not going to play in. I'm just going to keep it the same. I'm not going to change anything. I'm just going to go about my schedule like I had planned.
Q. I know you wouldn't count in exact numbers, but how many interviews have you done in the last month in general?
MINA HARIGAE: Not that many. More than obviously for me. In the last month?
Q. Few weeks, however you want to say it is fine. They made the documentary. They went to your parents' restaurant. I'm sure --
MINA HARIGAE: Yeah, yeah, phone calls. I guess like 20 to 30.
Q. I know today's round probably didn't end the way you wanted, but how are you feeling after finishing your fourth round here at Pebble?
MINA HARIGAE: Obviously coming off not a good round. I'll definitely feel differently probably later in the day. I'm just more disappointed.
I'm disappointed, but you know what, I still got to play four rounds in front of the home crowd at Pebble.
Q. Can you talk about what happened at the 18th here?
MINA HARIGAE: I just hit a really bad drive. I hit it where you just absolutely can't.
Q. Can you talk about how -- I know your husband's been your caddie for a while, but to be able to have him be your caddie here at Pebble Beach, what has that meant to you?
MINA HARIGAE: It's definitely special. He loves golf way more than I do. I know he really enjoyed it, and just to share the experience with him, it's just the best thing ever. We got to play in a U.S. Open in my hometown.
Q. Early in the week you had No. 36 on and I forgot to ask earlier what that was all about. You had a jersey that had a 36.
MINA HARIGAE: Oh, it's just the clothing -- Malbon Golf. I don't know what it -- it's just 36. It's just a cool shirt.
Q. It's from a Wu-Tang album called 36 Chambers. I thought maybe it was a football number from a friend in high school.
MINA HARIGAE: No.
Q. Going back to Annika and Michelle, you know them, of course, but had you played with them a lot earlier in your career? Annika has been away for a while --
MINA HARIGAE: I've never played with Annika because she retired early, and Michelle -- we ran in different circles, obviously.
But yeah, I didn't get to play with her very often, but she was my pod leader at the Solheim Cup last year. That was fun, obviously, because it's Michelle Wie.
It's like high school. If you don't run with the same crowd, you don't really hang out with each other.
