Q. Benedetta Moresco, the low amateur here at the 78th U.S. Women's Open. How does that sound?
BENEDETTA MORESCO: That sounds amazing. I'm very, very happy. Very happy to be part of this history and be part of this tournament. I'm very proud of myself and proud of the work I've put in.
Yeah, I'm very, very happy.
Q. Overall what will you take away from this week? What will you some of the memories that you'll remember forever?
BENEDETTA MORESCO: I'm going to miss this so much. I tried to take everything in, and I'm going to remember everything. The course in particular because it was incredible, the organization, all the people that work here. My caddie, Chris Rose, which I'm really thankful.
Yeah, also the fact that my family was here; that was great.
Q. Coming into this week could you have expected this, that you'd be standing here?
BENEDETTA MORESCO: Not expected, but I really wanted it, and I'm happy I got it. Yeah, that was my goal. I tried not to come with expectations, but of course that was the goal for me, and I'm happy I achieved it.
Q. What's your plan for the rest of the summer?
BENEDETTA MORESCO: About to play another tournament as an amateur and then turn professional. Then I will play Q-school in America and on the LET and see which card I get. Hopefully in 2023 I'll play on Tour.
Q. Were there any memorable shots that you hit this week that you'll remember?
BENEDETTA MORESCO: There were some clutch putts for sure. Probably the shot on 12 today was really, really good. I was close to the pin.
