THE MODERATOR: Could you just tell us your initial thoughts on today's match.

JANNIK SINNER: Yeah, for sure it was in the beginning a little bit tight, both of us. But then after I found the right way to play against him, it was the first time that we play on grass, so it's obviously a good feeling.

Yeah, I'm very happy to be in the next round.

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Quarterfinal last year and now you've started very convincing on grass the first two matches. Is this up there with your favorite surface?

JANNIK SINNER: No, it's tough to say that it's my favorite surface, because we don't play as much as we do in the other surfaces. But for sure I try to go a little bit more used to it, no? And also the shot selection is a little bit better now, because, you know, I know now slowly when to use my slice and when to hit and everything. But still, I feel like that I have room to improve, for sure.

Obviously playing against a good friend like today, it's obviously tough, no, because it's also mentally a little bit. We played doubles together earlier this year and everything. We are good friends.

You know, all about trying to find my game every match I play. Every match is different.
