Q. Incredible finish. You're right up there on the leaderboard.

ANDY SULLIVAN: It was good. I played really well today. Bogey on 10 sort of stunted momentum a little bit. Felt like I played a good front nine and didn't get the best out of it, but then again 10 was a bit disappointing.

Missed an 8-footer on 11 which did get a massive expletive. Luckily the cameras weren't there, would have got fined, and then got going after that.

Holed that 1-putt on the par 3, 12th and just things got going for me. It was good. Felt the momentum and obviously having a home crowd behind you is nice, local crowd and quite a few out there today, so it's good when you get the roars going and you get them going, you feel like your energy is up today.

Q. How much added incentive is it, playing not only at home, but so close to your home?

ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, definitely. My dad is getting older and older all the time, so I don't know how many more times I'm going to get to play in front of him where he's going to be able to come. So it's nice for him to be out there and to witness some good golf, as well.

Q. And obviously the appreciation of having so many people around following you?

ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, it's mega. It's mega. It's a pain in the arse trying to get more tickets but it's mega.

Q. Well, you're giving them a show.

ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, definitely hopefully cary on at the weekend as well.
