Q. Patrick, I know not the way you want to finish up a golf tournament, but all in all, what are your takeaways from today?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, I thought I struck the ball very solid all day. Played smart. Not the finish I wanted obviously, but my game is in a good spot and a lot of big tournaments left this summer.

Q. After going 9-under yesterday what was the mindset coming into today?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Trying to get off to a hot start and make up some ground, but slow out of the gates today. Only 1-under on the front nine.

You know, obviously tried my best. Hit a lot of good putts in the beginning; middle of the round I didn't make a ton.

So that's just how it is some days.

Q. You mentioned a lot of good golf coming up this summer. Long couple weeks. What are your plans moving forward?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, get ready for The Open. That's the only thing on my mind right now.

Q. How do you do that?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Get back to Jupiter, regroup, and start working on my game.
