THE MODERATOR: We're here with Celine. Just talk about your second round today.

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I felt I played very steady. I hit fairways and greens and I hit some close shots today.

Q. What were some of the differences you noticed in how you played yesterday compared to today?

CELINE BORGE: I hit some more closer today than yesterday.

Q. Did you feel any more nerves today than yesterday, given the position that you're in?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah. Yeah.

Q. You obviously dealt with them fine. Do you feel like you managed everything well?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I felt that.

Q. I know this is a new position for you on the LPGA Tour, but people forget you played really solid last year on the Epson Tour. Do you kind of rely on the experience from being in the mix last year as you play these weekends, and if you do, how do you do that?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I think it's a good experience from Epson last year to be on the top, and then just take what I learned from that and just stay focused and try to do normal, play normal.

Q. What did you learn from that?

CELINE BORGE: That I just have to stay focused on every shot and do my best and then see how it goes.

Q. You don't look very comfortable up there. Are you comfortable on the golf course?

CELINE BORGE: I felt pretty comfortable on the golf course. I did.

Q. What do you think it is about this course that suits your eye so well? It's pretty challenging I feel like for the rest of the field, but you've carded two rounds in the 60s so far.

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I just happen to play well here. I feel if you hit the fairways and keep out of the rough, then it's easier.

Q. How have you managed to do that this week, keep hitting the ball in the fairway? Are you striking the driver really well?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, mostly, yeah.

Q. Birdie on 16, that's a really long par-3. Can you tell me about that birdie on 16?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I hit 3-hybrid like to a tap-in. It was a short putt.

Q. How did that kind of moment at a major championship, nearly holing out --

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, it was just past.

Q. Have you ever had a hole-in-one?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah.

Q. Where was that at?

CELINE BORGE: I've had a couple.

Q. As you look ahead to the weekend, what's your strategy going to be as you try to contend for a major and your first LPGA Tour title?

CELINE BORGE: Yeah, I'm just going to try to do my best and see how it goes.
