Q. I'm sure there was a lot of uncertainty with where you were going to fall. When did you find out you were going to the Hornets and what's your reaction to joining the team?

BRANDON MILLER: When I found out, probably at least two seconds before they called me name, it's exciting. It's a dream come true. I've always dreamed to walk across the stage and shake their hand and take the pictures that we did. It's just all a dream come true. Just ready to get to Charlotte.

Q. What do you bring to the table for the Charlotte Hornets?

BRANDON MILLER: I know they have great players there already. For me, I can bring just a winner. I'm willing to make all the winning plays as far as on or off the court. So just yeah, a winner.

Q. I'm sure one of the players that you're most excited to work with is LaMelo Ball, a fantastic playmaker, yourself a fantastic shooter from the outside. How do you anticipate your partnership going with him with the complementary skills you guys have?

BRANDON MILLER: LaMelo, man, that's definitely one of the guys. He made me feel like a little brother away from home. I feel like our bond will get closer, just due to the past time. I feel like we're always going to be together, and if not, I'm probably somewhere around him.

Just seeing him at my workout was kind of just not a dream, but it's a dream come true to see all the top guys watch you work out.
