Quick Quotes
Q. Frank, so into the last 32, you must be chuffed with the week's work?
FRANK KENNEDY: Good, week so far. Game feels good and obviously it's match play, so one shot at a time at a time.
Q. You have to get through stroke play first. How big a challenge at that?
FRANK KENNEDY: I put myself up against it a little bit had a rough finish the first day and played nice at Hillside with six birdies. But I was surprised at how low the cut was. Nice to obviously birdie 18.
Q. How did the match go itself? Obviously you don't have to go too far to get over the line but was it tough at stages today?
FRANK KENNEDY: Not really. I mean, it was just playing sensible golf, like some of those pins were on the side of slopes. It's just strategy making birdie putts. The conditions today is perfect weather, only a little bit of wind so it was more about who made the most birdies, really.
Q. You said to me you're 17; is that right? Being 17 and talking about strategy and plodding your way around, do you find yourself at your age kind of patting yourself on the back that you're able to do that?
FRANK KENNEDY: Yeah, obviously it helps a lot. My caddie this week, he talked me through every shot so keep it going.
Q. Fanny (Sunesson) not here this week?
FRANK KENNEDY: She's not here this week but I am with her next week, so that will be good.
I've known Brian for six years now. Brian caddied for DeChambeau. It's cool to have the connections, but I still have to hit the shots.
Q. Did you know the courses at all before you came out this week?
FRANK KENNEDY: I played S&A and Hillside a while ago, maybe three years ago but no, obviously it's nice to play them. They have softened up since the practise rounds because of the rain we had at night but the course is good.
Q. Lastly, keeps the form going, you've won already, obvious question, can you go one again?
FRANK KENNEDY: Obviously that's the goal but the focus is on tomorrow, so we'll see.
