Quick Quotes
Q. You've won your first match here at the Women's Amateur Championship. How are you feeling?
JENEATH WONG: I just feel that I was able to win today's match going down 17, so that was a pretty good feeling.
Q. Much calmer conditions out here today at Prince's. Do you think that helped a little?
JENEATH WONG: Definitely. The first day was really, really windy and today it slowed down a bit which made a big difference.
Q. What are your thoughts here on the course here at Prince's?
JENEATH WONG: Really tough. Greens are firm and in really good shape. So it will be a challenge out there for everyone.
Q. Talk to us about your match today. You said you won on 17. Was it a tight match all day?
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, we scored the exact same score up until the 13th hole I think, or the 12th hole. So we had the exact same score up till 12 and I managed to win two holes from there and just maintained that.
Q. Do you feel like it's a different kind of mentality that you have to take to your golf when you are playing match play?
JENEATH WONG: Yeah, it's more that you're playing with your opponent rather than just yourself. So you've got to look at their game and how they are going to play the shot and see how they do it.
Q. What was great about your game today?
JENEATH WONG: I only missed one green today, so that was pretty good.
Q. Your caddie told me your ball-striking was on point, which is good on a links.
JENEATH WONG: Yeah.
Q. Looking forward to the rest of the week, it's a lot of golf to be played. What's the mentality and what's the plan?
JENEATH WONG: Take it one shot at a time. Just stay patient and just play normal, I guess.
