CAITLIN PEIRCE: Yeah, it's definitely the result I was looking for. In the qualifying rounds, pulled it together a little bit, hit some putts close. Good morning.

Q. Not many Aussies left. I don't know if you're the only one?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Lion is still going but she's 1-down through 12. She might need to hustle a little bit.

Q. But because of that status, you're one of the last couple Australians in in the last 32, you must be over the moon to be here.

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Yeah, it's definitely a good result. Excited for tomorrow.

Q. Is the course catching your eye more as the week goes on in terms of getting used to it?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Definitely getting used to it a little bit. Some of the plays are a lot easier in match play because you're not worried about where it's going to go so much. It's just one hole.

Q. Because you said at the start of the week, you had not played much links at all, your first time in the U.K., wasn't it?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Yeah.

Q. So you picked it up inside three days. What's been the key to success?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: I suppose the course I play at home it gets quite windy, so it's not like I haven't played windy golf but I haven't played proper links.

Q. What course is that?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Royal Adelaide. Pretty good track.

Q. And the weather is probably helping you?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: So much better than I was expecting. Millie was over here and she said bring a beanie because it was cold where she was. I don't think you need a beanie for this.

Q. Watched a few holes earlier and grinding so hard, which it might in Adelaide as well. Does that affect your club selection? Are you trying to place it in the fairways?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: It's definitely driver until it's definitely not.

Q. Just go out and attack, match play?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: Pretty much. There's one hole where the bunker is a bit of a penalty but otherwise it's driver almost everywhere.

Q. How far can you go?

CAITLIN PEIRCE: I don't know. Love to win. We'll see.
