Q. So you're obviously disappointed at 6-over but how is the experience being here for the first time?

JENEATH WONG: It's actually really good. I thought the weather would be pretty cold and windy, wet, but it turned out to be really hot and sunny. But yesterday I was kind of unlucky being put in the afternoon group. It was super windy, but today I did a lot better. I just learned from that.

Q. Is that the toughest wind you've played in yesterday?

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, it was left-to-right wind. It wasn't into or anything.

Q. And coming over here, is this your first time in the U.K.?

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, it's quite a long flight but I think I can get used to it over here and I'll play better. Maybe a few more times.

Q. The experience you've gained playing links golf, what's that been like compared to what you are used to?

JENEATH WONG: You can't really attack the green. You have to land a bit earlier because the greens and fairways are a lot further. You have to learn from that. It's not normal U.S. greens where you can pitch them up.

Q. It's a really talented field here this week, what's the vibe around the course and the club?

JENEATH WONG: It's just good for me to see where I'm at and also learn from other players, so it's good experience, too.

Q. What's the biggest learning thing you'll take away from this week?

JENEATH WONG: Just how everyone plays differently in the wind, so how different shots come out and stuff.

Q. Like lower ball flight?

JENEATH WONG: Yeah, lower ball flight, different shot shapes and stuff.

Q. Your future ambitions, what are they going forward?

JENEATH WONG: I'm at Pepperdine to start my freshman year. So I'm trying to graduate and maybe turn pro after that.
