Quick Quotes
Q. You must be pleased. That was a good effort today. You're looking pretty strong for the last 64.
JESS BAKER: Yeah, I'm really pleased with today. Obviously tough conditions yesterday. Yeah, really proud that have finish, that back nine.
Q. Did you feel extra pressure this week?
JESS BAKER: It's difficult to do that but that's part of it and that's part of being defending champion. I enjoyed it and there is a bit of that pressure but I'm pleased to come out the other side.
Q. You know how to get through after last year, so you must take heart from that going ahead?
JESS BAKER: Yeah, we'll see what happens and wish for all the best.
Q. How much have you enjoyed the test? Have you been down here before?
JESS BAKER: Well, first time down in Sandwich. We're at the opposite end overseas. It's great to be here, and got dogs are back again. It's déjà vu from last year. It's lovely and I've really enjoyed the course.
Q. What's it been like the last year in the States and having the title of Women's Am Champion? Has it given you satisfaction the last year?
JESS BAKER: It has, definitely. Sort of got my name up there a little bit, and the experience I've had at the majors have been unbelievable. I've taken so much from this year and that will help me look forward.
Q. What's the highlight?
JESS BAKER: The highlight for me was the 150th at St Andrews. That fourball at the Celebration of Champions was unreal, so that for sure.
Q. Who did you play with again?
JESS BAKER: Collin Morikawa, Anna Nordqvist and Keita Nakajima
