Quick Quotes
Q. All right, I'm here with Dani Holmqvist the leader in the clubhouse right now. Kind of had a few bogeys out there today. How did you stay on track and finish up with a 4-under round?
DANI HOLMQVIST: You know, it's just some holes are tough, and it's -- you know, it's a great course, and sometimes you get a good break and sometimes you get bad. You can't dwell on it too much.
I just tried to stay level and focus on the next shot.
Q. And what was your thought process going into today's round, headed out there?
DANI HOLMQVIST: You know, it's always some nerves and stuff, but it was nerves in a good way, because it's a position you really want to be in, we work hard to be in.
But it's just trying to trust my own game and just what I've been working on for the last couple weeks, and it's nice to see that it's paying off.
Q. Being able to finish with a birdie on the last hole, how does that help your confidence heading into the next round?
DANI HOLMQVIST: It does a lot. I mean, it's always so much fun to do it in front of the fans and all the spectators that came out. Always such a great event in those terms, too.
So really fun to do it.
Q. And just in general, what's your thought process heading into tomorrow?
DANI HOLMQVIST: Just try and do the same thing, as cliche as that sounds. Just try and stay in my own bubble and picture the flights and just fall in love with those and just try and execute as good as I can.
Q. Last time you held a 36-hole lead was at the AIG Women's Open. This time you only have one round coming up next. Does that change you strategy at all, being more aggressive maybe out there tomorrow?
DANI HOLMQVIST: Well, I hope it turns out better than it did that time. You know, I think there are so many good and talented players in this field, and it's going to be low scores. Only thing I can do is try to do the best that I possibly can, and hopefully that's enough.
Q. And then you mentioned how you love it out here. It's your eighth time out here. How do you feel like you've been influenced by the fans and the environment out here?
DANI HOLMQVIST: Yeah, it's a great community and always a great showing of fans. They're so supportive. I mean, crowds from Philadelphia and all of New Jersey, it's just phenomenal. I think we always feel really welcome to come here, and this is one of my favorite stops of the year.
