THE MODERATOR: Congratulations, Juan Carlos. We'll start with English questions.
Q. What are your main emotions, feelings to make it into the final here?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Yeah, I am very happy. I feel incredible. It's my first Grand Slam final. I think I'm the first Bolivian player to make it to the final, so very happy.
Q. I think last year here in the juniors you got into the second round. Just wonder how you feel you've evolved as a player and a person since then.
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Yeah, I have been training very good with my team and my coach. I feel like I think I deserve this, and I can do more.
Q. What do you think made a difference today? Second set was really, really tight. What do you think you did especially well to claim that victory?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Well, he started to play very good. He started to hit his forehand to my backhand a lot, so he was dominating the point and everything.
But then with my coach, he told me to go more with my forehand, and then I started playing better, and I could come back in the set.
Q. As you said, you're the first from your country to reach the final in junior, and second of all to reach a Grand Slam final as a doubles player I think too. What do you think that means back home?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Well, very happy. Yes, this is my second final now. I played a doubles final in US Open last year. Very happy to do it in singles now.
Q. Could you just tell us about your tennis background, how you got into it, and kind of any Roland Garros memories that come to your mind?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Yeah, I am very soccer guy. I like to play soccer a lot. Then I just starting to playing soccer, and then I move to another house, and then I started playing tennis with a coach. Then I went to my academy where I am now, and then I am here.
Q. Who is your Bolivian team, your football team?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Blooming.
Q. You obviously love to play on clay. What's your thoughts on playing other surfaces and how much you think it's going to be an advantage when turning professional?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Yeah, I think I can play good, great in every surface. Last year in Wimbledon I felt very well. In other surfaces I feel good. But I play all my life in clay, so I think I have an advantage here.
Q. Are you going to try to sneak a bit of time to watch Alcaraz-Djokovic?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Probably, yes.
Q. A favorite?
J.C. PRADO ANGELO: Great match, yeah (smiling).
