Q. How would you describe the vibe of the team right now? How would you describe the obstacles ahead here needing to avoid elimination?

AJ LATTERY: I would say that our vibes are good. LSU is a really good team. We're definitely not out of it. That's for sure. Obviously that one hurts a lot, but all we can think about right now is going and beating Sam Houston. We'll deal with them tomorrow again.

Q. What did you do during the rain delay?

AJ LATTERY: We went up to top in the locker room they have, and in their hall of fame room, just watched other games. And tried to just stay as low as possible, just kind of rest and hang out.

Q. In your estimation, what makes this LSU offense so good?

AJ LATTERY: Obviously, in my opinion, I think it's not executing certain pitches, you know, making mistakes. As you saw, every pitch that we threw where we didn't execute it, they took advantage of it.

And they got really good hitters. They're a really good offense. I think if we can just execute and keep the ball down I think we'll have better outcomes.
