THE MODERATOR: Congrats. The crowd was extremely happy to have you back on Philippe Chatrier tonight, and you were very happy as well.

ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Yeah. Honestly, it was quite nice for me to get out there, especially after last year. I think it was a great atmosphere. It was a great feeling for me. I'm definitely happy with how everything went.

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English, please.

Q. Sascha, did you feel any anxiety or stress before coming back on this court after what happened?

ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Yeah, I did. I did a little bit. That's why I think before the match I went out on court just to see it because I haven't seen it, I haven't been out there at all since the accident.

So that was, I think, quite important for me. Then during the match, I was extremely excited to be out there. I was extremely excited to be playing on that court again. I wanted to do the best I could.

Q. Sascha, Paris is the city of love, but as we know, the course of love does not always run smooth, especially in tennis. You suffered heartbreak here last year with your injury.

ALEXANDER ZVEREV: You should write a book, man.

Q. I'm going to cowrite it with you. But when you look at all your experiences here, how would you describe your relationship status with Roland Garros?

ALEXANDER ZVEREV: I mean, I love the place. It's nice to be back here. It's definitely a tournament I want to win and also do great. So yeah, there's still a small part missing in that, but all in all, I enjoy being out here.
