THE MODERATOR: Third round of the French Open. Can you explain your feelings right now?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Super happy. First time third round here. I think I played a really good match.

Yeah, I'm just super, super happy and super proud the way that I'm playing and the way that I'm working.

Q. On the two wins that you have been getting and the way that you have been playing, what were your expectations coming to Paris?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Zero (smiling). No expectations.

Q. No expectations?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Yeah. Just enjoy. Try to keep doing the work that I'm doing with my team and the work that I'm doing with myself. Yeah, coming here just was amazing for me after everything last year.

Yeah, very happy. Day by day, point by point, and I'm here.

Q. What has surprised you about the way that you've played or the level that you have been able to play in your first two matches?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Yeah, the first day, the thing that surprised me the most was that I was able to manage all the situations, all the feelings that was coming through.

First round is always difficult to play. Not good feelings with the ball, not good feelings with my body. So, yeah, I was trying to manage these kind of things.

Today I'm super surprised with the way I played the whole match, because I think she started really good. I was trying to find the place on the court. Yeah, she was better than me at the beginning, but I was trying to stay close, close, close, close.

Then I think I changed totally the match. Yeah, I'm happy with that, to be able to continue doing that.
