BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, solid start, which I'm really excited about. Got really windy out there, especially on my back nine, so to go bogey-free was really nice.

And I feel like I did a lot of really good things; didn't make as many putts as I would've liked, so hopefully more putts and more birdies will come tomorrow.

Q. What was it like last week at Bank of Hope and coming over here now?

BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, big change in climate. It was really hot last week. It's a little cooler this week, back to kind of what I'm used to growing up in Canada.

So this is just an amazing venue and such a great opportunity for all the LPGA girls and the AJGA girls to be out here playing.

It's a really unique format, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun this weekend.
