Q. How did you find the course out there playing and how would you kind of assess your play today?

ADAM HADWIN: Yeah, for hitting six fairways and 10 greens I think 3-under par is really good. I didn't drive it as well as I needed to today. Having 26 putts helps. Made a bunch there and kind of saved myself.

I thought the golf course was fair. Obviously the fairways are fast. Greens are firm. This afternoon gets a little wind and it will play trickier. I found some thick spots in that rough too. But overall I think this golf course is always in really good shape. So, yeah, I'm happy.

Q. What maybe was a little off with your swing possibly today?

ADAM HADWIN: I hit a couple quick hooks early and then kind of started missing it right a little bit with the driver. I got a pretty good idea. I hit my irons really solid, which was nice. My wedges were kind of out of this world, really. I think I hit three or four wedges within five feet. So that kept me in there. Again, just kind of staying patient knowing that it's a tough golf course and just kind of taking 'em when you can get 'em. A couple good saves coming in.

Q. Is that kind of the biggest thing with a golf course like this is just be aggressive when you can, but also when you miss eight greens making sure you're in maybe the right spot to be able to get it up-and-down a little easier?

ADAM HADWIN: Yeah, definitely. You're not going to play 72 holes, even 18 holes, without missing shots here and there. And you just kind of have to kind of roll with everything that the golf course gives you. Just get ready for the next shot. I feel like this is, it's a very tricky golf course. Especially when the wind, the winds can swirl here. And if you're not ready and if you're not ready to hit that next shot you can kind of compound errors easily. You got to try and avoid that around this place.
