Quick Quotes
Q. All right, came down to a playoff, the only playoff of the day. Pajaree, just the emotions, feelings you have moving on to the weekend.
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Very happy that I made it to the weekend obviously. I wasn't -- I mean, my game wasn't at my best today, but I'm really proud of how I felt, like I felt all -- I mean 15, to the 15 hole, and then the very last hole on the playoff.
So it was nice to finally advance and get to play tomorrow.
Q. What did you take away from the match today to really kind of gain the confidence that you needed to keep going?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I mean, I think because the playoff hole that I think I just really, you know, just hung in there and tried to focus on what I can do, and you see how the ball finish in like the divot on the first tee.
I hit it good off the tee but I end up in the divot. Sometime you can't control everything, but you just have to react and stay patient and positive as much as you can.
Q. You said on Golf Channel that golf is golf and you can't control everything when it comes to golf. How will you utilize something like a playoff win as you go into the weekend?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: You know, teeing off on the first -- I mean, on this playoff hole, all I can think of just my shot and my game. I can't -- like I think I was thinking too much of the opponent today. Like too much that I think it just -- I didn't have the focus for my game.
So I just learned from that obviously, so I tried to focus on what I can do and focus on my routine, and just one shot at a time.
Q. There is a quick turnaround for tomorrow going into the round of 16 as you were the last one off today. How will you kind of settle mentally before going to bed tonight, or do you think there will be some nerves in the morning?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Just I will definitely get a lot of rest tonight, get some rest, and just, again, I think I learned a lot today just by some mistake I made out there, some of the shots I did good.
Again, always focus on what you can control.
