Q. Emma, a 4 & 2 victory over Jodi Ewart Shadoff. How was Day 2 for you?

EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, it was really fun. Unfortunately that's my Dow partner, so it was a little awkward to say the least, but I had a fun day. It's a hard golf course. The greens got firm this afternoon and a bit windy, so we had fun, as much fun as we could.

Q. Overall what's it been like preparing for an event like this?

EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, I love match play. I always have. It's been good to me in my past, so just trying to have a bit of confidence coming into the week. I feel like I've played match play a lot, which helps.

Q. When you took the lead on 4, you never looked back there. What is it about Shadow Creek that is suiting to your game at this point?

EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, I think you just have to think and you have to be a bit of an iron player, which that's what I'm good at is hitting my iron shots.

Yeah, I feel comfortable out here. I think it's beautiful. Yeah, just trying to be in the moment.

Q. What's really interesting when we talk to people is when I ask when did you feel the match was in your favor, and they say, you never know when it's in your favor. You can be 4-up and still not feel it. Do you feel the same way?

EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, totally. I never felt comfortable, even on the last still. I still wasn't comfortable because everybody out here is really good and you never know when the momentum is going to change. This golf course is really hard, so you can hit a good shot and it could roll out and not be in the best of spots. You just never know when it's going to change, and I didn't really feel comfortable until we picked up the last hole.

Q. Vegas itself is an interesting and exciting city and I know you've been able to make the most of your time here in Vegas off the course. What's that been like, and what have you been doing the last couple of days?

EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, the first day we got here we went to the Knights game which was so fun. They won in overtime, it was game 2 of the west, so that was really fun. Then we went to David Copperfield last night. He's a legend, so got to see him. It's been really fun just walking around, people seeing. There's so much to do here, so just enjoying my time in Vegas.
