Q. Talk about the difficulty of the day and hanging in there.

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, tough day. Obviously tough conditions but tough for everybody.

Q. You had the early hole on Thursday. Have you been okay with how you battled back and getting yourself somewhat in this thing?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, our side had the worst side of the wave, but I've got my head down trying to play as well as I can. It's tough out there.

Q. It is tough. You got a couple late coming in, 14, 15. Just how hard is it to make birdies out there?

PATRICK CANTLAY: It's tough. But you can get some on the back nine. But you know, it's tough getting it close today. Obviously all the hole locations are tucked and the golf course is playing long.

Q. A little about Michael Block, seeing him up there; you guys play a little bit. How much do you play and what's your reaction to what he's doing this week?

PATRICK CANTLAY: We play a few times a year. He's obviously a great player and has played in a number of these, so I'm sure he's getting comfortable and he's playing really well. It's great to see.

Q. What do you think is his strength of his game?

PATRICK CANTLAY: He's solid, hits is very straight, and on a golf course like this where you have to play from the fairway, that's a big advantage.
