Q. Here with Cheyenne Knight after her second round at the Cognizant Founders Cup. How was today any different from yesterday? I know you had a really good round yesterday and today now.

CHEYENNE KNIGHT: You know, just playing in the morning is kind of an advantage with no wind and the greens aren't as baked out.

But this afternoon was challenging just with the wind and how warm it was. The greens got really baked out so they were really like firm and fast.

So, yeah, it was nice to put a good number up there. Was just solid. Hit a lot of greens today. Didn't really make a lot, but like threw a few birdies in there.

Q. You hit a lot of greens but maybe less fairways then yesterday. How much more difficult does that make this course when you don't hit the fairways?

CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Yeah, you need to hit the fairways so you can generate some spin into the green. These fairways are so tight. Like I didn't miss the fairway by much really. Just a few yards on some of the holes.

If you're in the fairway you can be more aggressive with your approach shots, and if you're in the rough you're kind of aiming more in the middle of the green and just kind of playing really conservatively.

Q. Last year was the first year here, and this being the second year, how much more prepared do you feel for this event this year? I know you still had a good finish last year.

CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Yeah, I think this is just an old school golf course and you got to hit the fairway and the green. It's super tight, and last year it was really firm and fast, like how it is now. And just knowing how firm it can get like from last year is a big advantage, and just knowing how to play some of those holes and what to hit off the tee and if the conditions change knowing what to expect.

Q. I saw you over there chatting with Betsy King, one of our pioneers this week.

CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Yeah.

Q. How cool is it to see her around as well as some of the other pioneers of the game?

CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Oh, yeah, no, I remember I Monday qualified for this event back in 2019, and getting to go see all the Founders was really special. We're here today because of them. I got to play in the pro-am with Betsy and that's the first time I met her.

It was just awesome to pick her brain. She's won 34 times and is in our Hall of Fame, which is amazing. Such a down-to-earth person. I talked to her yesterday and she came out and watched me a little bit today, which was super nice.

Yeah, just getting to go meet and talk to some of those women that I grew up kind of idolizing is really special.
