Woburn, England, UK
Mixed Zone
Q. How would you sum your first two rounds here at Woburn?
FIONA GRAY: Hard work. But yeah, it's probably the hardest course I've ever played. I still can't get adjusted to the greens. I think that's my biggest downfall over the last two days. Cost me a lot of shots.
Q. The course has been playing very long, and you've not got much space off the tee, have you?
FIONA GRAY: Yeah, actually my strength is the distance, the length. It's just my short game, if I can get the two balanced together, I'll be a hundred percent ahead of everybody else.
Q. You're level with Kim Moore after two rounds. How important is that for you to be the leading female player this week?
FIONA GRAY: It's a massive achievement to be here with all -- with everything that's going on in my life with injuries and stuff like that. To come out here and play Kim, yes, shows a very talented golfer with lots of experience, probably a lot to live up to, but it will be a good battle tomorrow.
Q. A word about the general setup of the tournament. How impressed have you been with this first G4D Open?
FIONA GRAY: It's been absolutely fantastic. You've got about three different levels. You've got the pros and then you've got the amateurs and then you've got -- then you have all the disabilities, and coming together, it's absolutely fantastic. We are all here for a reason and it's absolutely fantastic.
