Q. You just defeated Anna Nordqvist, a really storied match play player here today in singles. What did it feel like to get that win and get that point for Australia?

STEPH KYRIACOU: Really good. It's always good to get the first point on the board. I think it's quite motivating for the matches behind. But yeah, it's nice to have one point secured, so now we only need one more.

Q. What were you thinking going into that match? Someone said it might be a little bit of a mismatch, but you've been playing great all week.

STEPH KYRIACOU: Yeah, Anna is obviously a really good player, major winner, Solheim Cups, so I knew it wasn't going to be easy, I just had to play good golf. I made a couple birdies early on which I think got a bit of momentum, which is nice, and kind of just held on to it and got a 4 & 3 win.

Q. How good does it feel to represent Australia in the way that you have so far this week and to play the way you played today?

STEPH KYRIACOU: Yeah, it's always good representing your country. Yeah, any chance you get, it's just cool because there's not many Australians that play golf, so being able to wear the flag on the hat and the shirt is really nice.
