Q. Guys, great week. I know it wasn't the result you wanted today, but you played great out there today, won your match. Tell me about when you got to flip that match. What was the momentum shift there that helped you flip the match?

XIYU LIN: I think today, even though England haven't win the match like previous day, but I still see them as a very strong competitors, especially we played with Bronte and Jodi today, they're both Solheim player, they're very experienced. So I definitely treated today's match very seriously.

I think what we done the best today is we kind of had a little review last night that we think we had a little weaker opening holes. We were not really making birdies on the par-5s. To us, that's the first little goal to achieve today, and we done it really, really well. Even after six, seven holes we were like 1-down or something, we were still entering the next holes confident.

I think it was just a really good game. They rolled in so many good putts and so did we. It's a really nice match. I think they did really good, but we did even better?

Q. Ruoning, you're playing with a bunch of LPGA Tour vets out there only in your second year. What did you learn about yourself throughout this whole process this week maybe from Janet playing in these match play situations?

RUONING YIN: Yeah, like I said, it's my first time to play team match play. Yeah, today I was a little struggling with my driver, but Janet, she just keep telling me that I got your back, just go hit it.

I mean, this week is a little cold and I didn't -- I think my tee shot was my strength, but I didn't play very good today.

XIYU LIN: Still make so many birdies.

Q. What did it mean to win your last match of the week?

XIYU LIN: We did want this point really badly. We know there was a slight chance for China to advance to the final.

But to me, I do want this point really, really badly. It's just like yesterday when I reviewed my stats when I realized I had four birdies and no bogeys and I still lost the match. That kind of just tells me a little bit more about the match play, and I really just learned if I really need to play this kind of game, I just have to be aggressive.

I would say the last two years I've been more on the consistent side, and then I was like, you know what, I just have to go. I'm very glad to see the result come out that well today. I think I had something like eight, nine birdies, which is pretty good to myself, and lots of putts, when I needed to make it to tie them or win the hole, I really did step up and finally do it, so that was a great feeling, and I hope I can carry these feelings to the tournament coming up.

Q. How would you evaluate Team China's performance this week overall?

XIYU LIN: I think even though we said all of our players is in good form, but the fact is we don't really have a match play experience. You know, that's something that's a fact. We try to challenge it, but it's not easy.

Like I said, you could play really well and still just missing like maybe one or two clutch putts to lose the whole match. This is the beauty of match play.

I would say overall, we did pretty good. Ruixin and Yu, they beat America, which is big. And then for us, we had a good day out there today when England was pretty hot, and we still somehow beat them.

I think we just need to look at the little positives. I would say most of the golf game is still stroke play, so I hope we can get a little bit out of this week, just boost a little bit more confidence, and still do great out there. We got it.

RUONING YIN: She said all I want to say.

Q. China is a country on the rise in women's golf, even after Shanshan's retirement. What does this kind of week mean for China going forward, not only for future International Crowns but with women's golf in general?

RUONING YIN: I think we keep getting better. I hope we can inspire the younger players in China to play golf and just be us.
