Q. This year feels different to last year with more people, more attention, you have been No. 1, you have won the US Open, you've won Indian Wells. More attention, more children that want your autograph. There is no Rafa here this year. Does it feel different?

CARLOS ALCARAZ: Yeah, a little bit. Yeah, it feels different comparing for last year. Yeah, I'm not the young player that is coming up. I'm there.

Yeah, it feels a little bit different, more attention, more and more people coming to my match, to my practice.

Yeah, it feels different, but at the same time, it feels a bit great.

Q. As a result, were you more nervous today than normal or just the same?

CARLOS ALCARAZ: Just the same. I didn't feel more nervous about playing here my first match. Just the same. But probably it was tougher to start the tournament here (smiling).
