Quick Quotes
Q. Great finish there, 17 you birdied to take the solo lead right now. With the weather conditions coming in tomorrow, things are uncertain, but how does it feel to be where you are right now going into tomorrow?
ALEX CEJKA: You know, I'm playing great. It's been a tough two challenging days. I've heard there's more wind and more rain coming. It's not going to be pleasant. Plus it's going to be cooler. It's going to make it a little bit tricky, but I love where I'm standing on the board.
It was, again, pretty breezy today. Before I started, Mark was already on 11-under par, so I was like, whoa, wind, stay down, but then it picked up, but I was playing well. I was grinding. I had a lot of good chances. As you said, the birdie on 17 to take the solo lead, I'm pretty happy with that.
Q. What would it mean to get the win tomorrow?
ALEX CEJKA: Every win is special. Doesn't matter where it is, in what state or what continent. We all grind for it day by day, just to win. It would be great.
Last year I was kind of empty-handed, but again, we have 18 holes to go. In bad weather everything can happen, but I'm glad at least I'm playing like last group.
Q. Days like yesterday, today, tomorrow, is that more mental or physically difficult?
ALEX CEJKA: Kind of both. It's like when you have bad weather, windy weather, you almost beat half of a field because they don't want to play in the cold, they don't want to play in the wind, they maybe don't know how to play exactly in the wind. But it's still tricky for everybody. You can make so easily bogeys, double bogeys here, and you're going to hit bad shots when you have a 30-mile-an-hour crosswind. But it's both, mentally and physically, too. We'll see who has the best endurance tomorrow in that bad weather.
