Quick Quotes
Q. A couple thoughts about -- you're in second; that's the good news. Bad news is it's 10 strokes behind.
ABRAHAM ANCER: That is insane. I guess Gooch has been playing perfect.
Q. Is he playing a different course than you guys?
ABRAHAM ANCER: I guess so. It is a golf course if you get it going and you're in the right spots, you can shoot low ones. But it's tough to do that on every single hole. It's very easy to miss a fairway because it's pretty tight. It's firm. Fairways are firm and fast and that roll out, so it's very impressive what he's doing. Obviously can't really be thinking about that and just take care of business tomorrow and see where we end up.
Q. But the team aspect, you still have something to play for.
ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, absolutely, and definitely we need to do a little bit of a better job as a team. This week we're a little bit behind. But three low ones really move you up the leaderboard; that's the beauty of it. Looking forward to tomorrow. This golf course is beautiful. It's been a lot of fun. The people here are incredible. Australia is one of my favorite countries to play golf. It's always been really good to me, and I'm excited to be here.
Q. Is it weird to be in second, to have a 10-stroke lead? I don't know if that's kind of a weird spot for anybody.
ABRAHAM ANCER: I don't know if it's ever happened, especially after two rounds. That's insane. That's some really, really good golf.
But he's the kind of player that can do that. He gets hot, he can make a lot of birdies, and he's not scared. He's a very good golfer, and he's obviously showing it. I don't know if that has ever happened, to be in second and 10 strokes back, but we'll try to catch him, we'll see.
