Q. What was your mentality going out there today?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, same as usual. I feel like it's important to play from the fairway around this golf course, and I did that. Gave myself a lot of chances and was able to hole some putts on the back 6nine.

Q. Did you feel like you could be aggressive today with how the course was playing?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I think the course does a good job of -- if you're playing in position you can be aggressive to certain hole locations, but if you get out of position you really need to take your medicine.

This golf course gives you a lot of chances if you play from the fairway.

Q. What was the best part of your game today?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I feel like I finally putted better today. I putted decent in the second round, but today I maybe made a few that I didn't expect to make, especially that one on 16, so it's nice to see some putts go in.

Q. Tomorrow obviously maybe a little bit of weather coming in. What's maybe the one key you're focusing on heading into the final round?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Just to stay patient. I've had a good track record around this golf course and had a number of chances, so should be nothing new tomorrow. I'll have a chance and I'll go out and do my best.

Q. Do you feel like this place maybe owes you one?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I hope so.

Q. You're very popular in the media room this week. Congratulations on the ace. Have you done this every time?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I have not, but it's a nice thing to do, and I thought everyone enjoyed it.

Q. What made this time different from last time?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Just never really occurred to me before to do it, and I'd seen some other guys do it in years past, so I decided I'd do it for everybody, the volunteers and the caddies.

Q. Now that you've done this, will you do this every time you make an ace?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I certainly am.
