Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Grace Kim. Solid round out there in these conditions. We were just talking, it's been going day by day. How did you adjust today?
GRACE KIM: I think I sort of predicted the worst possible. Like it can get quite windy up here, so you just like I said yesterday, kind of got to ride with the wind.
Kind of scrambled out there today but managed to finish beating the course, so, no, it was good.
Q. Being in this position as a rookie, how excited are you to take on tomorrow and what are some of the feelings you're having right now?
GRACE KIM: I think right now I'm not too nervous. It's all right. Yeah, really excited for a feature group Sunday, so that will be ideal.
Yeah, hopefully just another cruisier day, less stressful than today, so, yeah.
Q. I just want to ask you about 16 and 17. Not birdies, but how important was it for you getting a couple pars on those holes? Seemed like you were in a couple tough spots.
GRACE KIM: Yeah, it was a tough scramble. I wasn't expecting to miss the greens on both holes, but, yeah, I think it was a big relief on both holes just to be able to make that up and down.
Yeah, I guess kind of not as -- yeah, just a bit of momentum going down 18. Unfortunately I pulled the drive, but, yeah, it was definitely important for sure.
Q. There were a couple low scores today, but going into tomorrow, if the wind continues like this, anything different from the first three rounds or how do you handle another day like this?
GRACE KIM: I think I've just got to maybe sharpen up my shots into the green. Maybe towards the back nine maybe I'm getting physically tired. Yeah, making sure I'm not kind of down with my energy levels throughout the back nine.
So kind of the same thing as the last three days. Yeah, nothing too special.
Q. When you're up in the top of a really packed leaderboard like that and you're aware of it, right, is it more nerve-racking or fun or a combination of both?
GRACE KIM: I think it's a combination of both. Yes, you've got to be nervous, but you're nervous for a reason. You're up there for a reason and you get nervous because you're good enough and I think I'm just trying to embrace that as much as I can and just make the most out of it.
It's a good opportunity to expose myself, which is great, but also have that opportunity to showcase how I play. So it'll be really good.
