Q. Here with Nasa Hataoka. You can hear the wind. You went bogey-free today in these conditions. That's an impressive round of golf. Just take me through your day out there.

NASA HATAOKA: I had a solid round, especially my iron shots really good.

Q. What was your strategy in this wind?

NASA HATAOKA: My strategy was to hit my iron more neatly than usual, because I think it's really important for you to have -- it's important to have control of the ball.

So I think I was able to do that today.

Q. How were you able to do that today? I know trying to keep your irons pretty clean out there, but how were you able to accomplish that? This is just insane.

NASA HATAOKA: Yeah, simply, since LA I feel like the swing that I'm working on right now is getting more comfortable and something that is giving me more confidence, so I think the way I'm continuing the process right now is really helping me a lot.

Q. Last one from me and we'll open it up. What did you learn today in these conditions? Obviously got the afternoon draw tomorrow that you'll take with you as you look to play in this tomorrow.

NASA HATAOKA: I think for tomorrow, do the same think basically, but don't be too aggressive with your shots. It's okay to have a long putt, middle putt, and then for those putts just try to be comfortable as much as I can.

Q. You missed the cut last year. Talk about what you learned from last year's tournament as far as these winds.

NASA HATAOKA: Last year I feel like I was too aggressive with the shot, especially with my driver, so I feel like I was able to learn something from last year.
