Q. How difficult were those conditions out there this morning?

CAMERON YOUNG: Oh, it was easy. Greens were soft. It was nice and warm. Yeah, I mean it's basically impossible. I don't really know what you're supposed to do. It's playing so long. I think -- I mean, I hit a great shot on 18, I think it handed in a puddle. So it's hard. But I played well, honestly. The double on 17 is a bummer, but other than that I couldn't have done much better.

Q. What happened in the pine straw on 13?

CAMERON YOUNG: My foot slipped and I kind of chunked it into the woods.

Q. How difficult is it to stay patient when you know what's happening with weather, it's not your first rodeo with weather, but just at this course in particular?

CAMERON YOUNG: It's very difficult because you know that birdies are very hard to come by. So it's just, I mean, that's most of the battle out there is just trying to keep yourself in some kind of head space that you can function. Yeah, I mean there's, it's just really hard at the moment.

Q. Is it tough watching the draw kind of work its way into a difference?

CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, I feel like it probably -- I feel like I did pretty well to shoot even par the nine holes that I had. And if it was 80 and sunny with no wind I probably would have been really upset with even. So definitely a bummer. But at least I kept myself in it and I get to tee off somewhat late on Saturday.

Q. What's your mentality kind of as you know the weather's going to continue like this the rest of the day?

CAMERON YOUNG: Kind of the same thing. I mean, it looks like it's going to do this for quite awhile. So it's just going to be a battle. You can't afford to make doubles. Bogeys can be okay. You kind of just have to be thankful when you have a putt for birdie because it's going to play really long and no one's going to be very comfortable out there.

Q. Is there one aspect that of golf that is hardest when it's like this?

CAMERON YOUNG: Honestly, like driving is difficult because if the driver face gets wet, even in your preshot routine, which it happened to me twice today. They tend to just squirt right. Even right out of the middle of the face. So I think physically that's a really difficult part. Mentally it's obviously hard just because you're generally not having the most fun out there. But, yeah.
