Q. Mateo, tell us about your debut in a competitive round in Augusta.

MATEO FERNANDEZ de OLIVEIRA: It was a dream come true. The first it was a little hard because all in all, there were a lot of things going on in my head. But after hitting the first shot, I think it was a lot of fun.

I enjoy competing out there, and I know I had probably a couple strokes better, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Q. You feel like what happened is normal? It wasn't the nerves? It wasn't anything like that. You felt like comfortable today?

MATEO FERNANDEZ de OLIVEIRA: Yeah, I felt very good out there honestly. I just need to hit the ball well. So I put myself in positions where, if you are on the bad spots out there, you're going to struggle, and that's what I did. I didn't put myself in good places.

Actually, it was a good 4-over.

Q. So first major, first Masters, how do you feel in the middle of all these big guys and big players?

MATEO FERNANDEZ de OLIVEIRA: I mean, it feels strange because I never had the experience before.

As soon as I teed off and I was walking on the fairways, I feel very good with myself and my game. I'm just happy to be here.
