Q. How did you find the course playing on a Monday?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, obviously this is I think our favorite place for every golfer, and being able to be here is pretty special. This is my fourth time here, but it's still pretty exciting to be here on Monday.

Q. What's been the difference kind of not as many events this year coming into Augusta compared to years past? How do you adjust?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Still the same. Obviously you're still competing all the time. I compete back home with Mito, with Carlos, and yeah, it's just a matter of having the game right on point for this week.

Q. Kind of a different golf course than this past week and then here this week. What's the biggest difference, and what's going to be the most difficult thing to adjust to this golf course?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: I think the main thing will be the lies, just hitting over downslopes, upslopes, left to right, right to left, but other than that, I don't think it's much of a difference. Last week for me I was still hitting a lot of golf shots off the tee, kind of like high draws, which I need a lot of those here, and they felt pretty good.

Q. (Indiscernible).

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: No, not really.

Q. Did you see any crooked cats out there playing the Crooked Cat?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: I don't know how to play crooked.

Q. How is your game feeling coming into this week?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, I don't think I've been playing my best for the last couple weeks. But I know that my game is kind of trending in the right direction. I just am trying to still keep being positive. I know that my game is going to show up any time. That's kind of exciting, too, just to have the right attitude until that moment.

Q. Do you feel like you have more to prove at this Masters than in years past?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Probably there might be a little bit of revality (sic), but I'm just here to -- it's the Masters. I think we've all going to enjoy this week. It's pretty special for the game of golf. I mean, just take it that way. I think everybody is here to watch some golf and have fun.
