Quick Quotes
Q. So tell us a little bit about your experience. Now that we've finished the tournament, kind of coming here, playing the ANWA, how was it? And playing Augusta.
MARIA JOSE MARIN: It's just such an emotional experience, the whole tournament. I really, really enjoyed it. And getting the opportunity to make the cut and to play the last round, the final round at Augusta, it's just amazing.
Even though I didn't play as I was expecting to play, it's just amazing.
Q. We're looking at -- you're committed to Arkansas. There's something with Arkansas and all the Latin American players. Why did you make the decision, and what's your relationship with the players at Arkansas?
MARIA JOSE MARIN: I chose Arkansas over any other university that I visited because of the facilities. They have really good facilities. The Blessings, it's a really beautiful golf course and really tough too.
And because of the coach and the assistant coach, Shauna and Mike, they're just amazing and they were so nice to me. I just felt that I would be the right fit on the team.
Q. What about the amount of people that speak Spanish there?
MARIA JOSE MARIN: I kind of feel I'm going to feel comfortable with a lot of Latinas on the team. I know them. They're my friends. So I'm going to feel great there, along with the other girls that don't speak Spanish.
