Quick Quotes
Q. Now that the tournament is finished, can you tell us about the overall experience of playing the ANWA? How was it with your emotions?
SAKI BABA: I think for today's round I played very well for the first part to make it to 4-under. Then after that, I couldn't really hold it. Then I was able to come back, and I had all this experience, and I think that's what was really, really great for me.
Q. How was the transition between Champions Retreat and coming here? How much expectation you had about being at Augusta?
SAKI BABA: The Champions Retreat, it was really long, hard. The greens were really hard, fast, and difficult. The pin positions were difficult.
So I had really had a hard time over there, but here everything is open. It made me feel good. It was really wonderful being able to play here.
Q. That was kind of my question. What worked for you today? You had one of the best rounds of the day here.
SAKI BABA: My shots weren't very good as it was over there, when I was playing over there. I've been able to practice over here and adjusting my shots made my shots way better than those two days. That's why I got these 4-unders.
Q. Can you tell us about your caddie? I think he has a lot of experience here. He has been before here. What was the main assistance? How did he help you today?
SAKI BABA: I think his experience playing, been caddieing here for Hideki and his knowing the course, showing me where to place the pin, where to aim, and the undulations of the green, all kinds of details he knew. What he taught me has helped me.
