Q. Hand warmers in there and we were talking about how you felt like you played through four different seasons today. How challenging was it battling the elements and this tricky golf course?

NELLY KORDA: For sure. The walk out here is not easy either. It's definitely soft. Definitely the weather was a little brutal. We played through a lot of different types of weather I feel like today.

Overall it was a solid day. Sometimes you just got to fight through it. You know, came out on the other side shooting a pretty good score.

Q. You have a special connection to this area in general working with Jamie Mulligan; he's over at Virginia Country Club. You weren't able to play here last year because you were going through some health issues. How special is it for you to be a able to tee it up in this area?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, very nice. I had Jamie out Tuesday and Wednesday and he came out for I think nine holes and my warmup today. Spent a lot of time over here on this side for, I don't know, year and a half, so got to know the area.

I've actually never played in golf course. First time playing it this week. I like it. It's hilly, though.

Q. There is a lot to think about on this golf course. Never a dull moment. What kind of things in particular have you been working with him on of late to get you into that groove coming up on the part of the season where you'll be playing a lot of golf?

NELLY KORDA: Actually, honestly, this week we were working on my takeaway. I kind of got lost with my takeaway. Got really handsy and felt really disconnected taking my club back.

This week just kind of working on making sure that my body is moving in one and not moving all over the place. Works so far.

Q. The people at home can take solace in knowing that even people with great golf swings that play at the highest level are always working on little details. Don't forget the little details.
