Q. Caitlyn, 2-under today, five birdies. What was working for you out there?

CAITLYN MACNAB: I think I struggled a bit out there today. Just couldn't really find a rhythm. Struggled with the putter as well.

Found something towards the end. Hit some good shots. I didn't really miss it. Miss-hit it, I didn't really miss it, so that helped.

Q. Also made some shots. Eagle on 9. Take us through that hole.

CAITLYN MACNAB: Yeah, I hit a great drive down the fairway. I was a bit in between clubs. Hit the soft little 5-wood up into the green and sunk a nice putt.

Q. Inside the cut line, obviously inside the Top 5. What does that mean to you as you think towards Saturday and playing at Augusta National?

CAITLYN MACNAB: It's huge. It's such a great opportunity to be out here, and to be able to play at Augusta is really exciting.

So it's a really exciting weekend.

Q. What's the key to playing well there?

CAITLYN MACNAB: I think the important thing is knowing where to hit it on the greens and just leaving yourself with a manageable putt. Those greens are pretty crazy, so...

Q. Obviously more pressure on Saturday. More patrons watching. How do you keep yourself in check emotionally to prep for that round?

CAITLYN MACNAB: I think just coming up with a solid game plan and sticking with that, being diligent helps to just calm the nerves down and play your game.

Q. Rose is having another great day. Obviously top of the leaderboard. How do you catch her? How do you go after her on Saturday and try and snag that spot?

CAITLYN MACNAB: She's playing awesome. Just going to have to go out and play my game. I think the gap is big right now, but we'll see. We'll see how it goes.

Q. What does this week mean to you?

CAITLYN MACNAB: It's huge. Again, it's a huge opportunity to be out here. My family coming out all the way from South African, so good to see them again. Coach is on bag as well. So such a great support system having everyone here, everyone supporting from home. Means a lot. So it's a big deal.

Q. When was the last time you saw your folks? Has it been a bit?

CAITLYN MACNAB: Yeah, it was in summer so it's been a while.

Q. What was it like when you first saw them in week?

CAITLYN MACNAB: Pretty emotional. But it's good to see them. Nice to spend some time.
