Q. This was a little like the Sepp Straka match yesterday. You jumped on Billy early, got the lead, never let him catch up. He did not have his best game but you made six birdies and played really well again?

CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, I did play really well and was thankful for the couple mistakes he made early. It's not like Billy to do that. He's one of the most intense guys you'll find out here, and I think -- I was totally ready for him to come out of the gates hot, and once he did make those mistakes, there was always a chance he just starts making putts, which is scary. Happy to get that one over with.

Q. What's the best part of your game right now?

CAMERON YOUNG: I think I've hit my irons really well. I think I've putted really well. Speed has been great. It's just giving a lot of those putts a chance to go in. I feel like every day that's been pretty consistent.

Q. Kurt Kitayama is your opponent in the elite 8. What do you know about Kurt?

CAMERON YOUNG: I know he's just won Arnold Palmer and he's ranked about 19th in the world probably, and that he's really, really good. I don't know him personally well at all, but (indiscernible).
