Q. Lilia Vu back at it again with a 6-under. Great round. Eight birdies, two bogeys on the card, walk me through your day out there.
LILIA VU: Yeah, I started out pretty good and then hit couple bad shots. That's where the bogeys came in. Tried to collect myself. I got kind of upset but was able to bounce back and give myself a lot of chances for birdies.
Q. I know having fun is always your thing, but what was so fun today? Was it putting? Was int ball striking that was working really well?
LILIA VU: I think it was putting. It was more windy than the past, so all I wanted to do was just give myself a good chance for birdie and hope the putts fall in.
Q. Take me through your last couple of holes. Birdied three in a row and finished with a par on 18, which I know is probably not what you were looking for, but still solid finish?
LILIA VU: Yeah, coming down those -- I think 15, 16 were downwind par-4s. Those were kind of hard because the pins were kind of tucked in the front, so I was just hoping to just one hop and stop, land it short of the pin, and then bounce up.
Kind of left it short. There weren't short putts, probably like 20-footers, but I was able to make them. Don't even question, just move on to the next hole.
Q. I know today we were expecting conditions to be a little more difficult in the afternoon. Wind didn't blow as much as it may have out on the golf course over here. What did you find with the conditions in the afternoon that may have been a little bit more challenging from yesterday?
LILIA VU: Yeah, definitely more wind for us today. In the afternoon coming down the stretch I think it was almost one and a half clubs on some holes and then definitely on that short par-4 -- I was playing with Madelene. She drove it through the green. It was maybe 300 yards, so the wind of definitely a factor in the afternoon wave.
Q. You were telling Kay Cockerill this places reminds you of home a little bit. What is it that's so close to your hem course?
LILIA VU: So my home course is kind of desert style, links style course. Kind of wide open but it could get windy, and I just love that style because I play on it almost every day.
Q. Greens are the about the only teeth in this golf course and you figured something out. What's been clutch for you this week? Just reading them better or speed?
LILIA VU: Definitely reading it better. Speed could be a little better at, but I think just reading it well. And I also have my caddie that reads greens pretty well so that helps.
Q. You and Cole got that first win in Thailand about a month ago now. Everybody talks about their confidence derived from that. Now you're in the mix again heading into a weekend. Is there anything you might have learned playing on the weekend in Chonburri that you may take with you to Saturday and Sunday?
LILIA VU: Yeah, just not think about winning. Just go out there and have fun and it'll solve itself.
Q. (Off microphone.)
LILIA VU: I think it's like, bet. So after someone will say, oh, have a good day, bet. So cringe.
