Quick Quotes
Q. Another nice win; how would you compare the first two matches that you've played?
PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, I thought they were pretty similar. Today conditions were a little tougher, so a little more difficult to make birdies. But I played really well and played the back nine great.
Q. How did you combat the wind? What was maybe the toughest part of it?
PATRICK CANTLAY: It's just hard to get the golf ball where you want it to go. Today it wasn't really a constant wind, it was a gusty wind.
Picking your spots and being really patient and waiting for a steady wind in the fairway.
Q. Looks like you kind of control your own destiny tomorrow. Win and you move on. Is that a good way to go into that match, maybe better than maybe having a bunch of scenarios out there that just kind of mano-a-mano, if you win you go on?
PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, the only thing I can take care of winning my match, so that's all I'll really be really focused on regardless.
Q. Is it tough with sometimes those computations that this could happen, this could happen, a playoff? You seem like a guy who kind of just doesn't care about all that.
PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, I don't think it's too tough. You just can only do what you can do and play the match that you're playing at the time and let everything else figure itself out.
Q. Obviously we've got a few more days of this event, but do you feel like your game is trending in the direction you want it to heading towards Augusta?
PATRICK CANTLAY: Definitely. I feel like since Riviera my game has been pretty solid, and that's a good thing because there's a lot of big tournaments coming up.
